Think of WORM as a weighted snuggle companion. Something soft and familiar for children to reach for, lean into, wrap around themselves and keep close through all the little moments of their day.
Inside, there's a long, soft, stuffed form, tucked into a worm-shaped outer cover with six carefully placed weighted channels running through the centre of its body.

And without being too cheeky, it really does what it says on the tin. It's gently weighted, designed for snuggling, and shaped like a WORM!

A little different, we know. But that's kind of the point.

I'm ageless! It's not really about how old you are, but how you use me at each stage of life. In the early days, I'm here for a little extra support during feeding, cuddling and quiet moments together. As you grow, I can become that familiar, comforting companion you turn to for calm, winding down and rest. Something soft to hold onto, lean into and feel at home with.

Yes! I've been carefully designed for those everyday moments with your baby and independently tested against applicable toy safety standards. My outer fabric is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton and is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. Lots of goodness in me!

But here's the catch. For babies under 24 months, NEVER leave me unattended with your little one. I'm here for supervised moments together, whether that's feeding, cuddling or winding down. Always remove me before your baby is left alone to sleep.

I have carefully placed weighted channels filled with tiny glass beads. Each channel has been thoughtfully engineered to allow natural movement while keeping my weight evenly distributed. So I stay soft, flexible and comforting to hold.

Underneath my head is a little pocket holding a removable pouch filled with natural clay beads. Simply take the pouch out, heat it in the microwave following the instructions, and always check the temperature before use. Babies are especially sensitive to heat, so make sure it's not too hot. Pop the pouch back into its pocket and enjoy a little extra warmth and comfort.

We're not a magic sleep pill! Some children take to WORM straight away, while others need a little more time. And some will know exactly what you're trying to do and have absolutely none of it!
Don't force it, but don't give up after the first try either.

Rather than simply handing over WORM and hoping for the best, try introducing it during calm, happy moments. Build familiarity through touch, cuddles and reassuring words like, ‘You're safe. You've got your WORM. I'll be back in two minutes.’

Consistency matters too. Have a chat with your partner or other caregivers so you're all taking a similar approach. Sleep is a practice, and feeling safe, secure and familiar with a routine takes time.
Remember, WORM isn't here to magically make your child sleep. It's here to become part of a comforting routine that supports calm and connection.

Of course! Life gets messy. And remember, I was designed by a mum who also happens to be a product designer. She'd never make something for families that couldn't be washed!

My outer cover and inner form are both machine washable. Just give me a gentle wash and let me air dry naturally. My outer cover is made from 100% organic cotton, so a little TLC goes a long way.

Safety and quality are a big deal to us! WORM has passed independent third-party testing by Bureau Veritas in France, an internationally recognised testing, inspection and certification company.

Our testing includes European toy safety standards EN 71-1, EN 71-2 and EN 71-3, as well as American toy safety standard ASTM F963. These tests assess important aspects of product safety, including physical construction, flammability and certain chemical risks.
Our outer fabric is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton and is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning it's been tested for harmful substances.
Our removable warmable insert has also passed separate safety testing for its intended heating use.

These tests help us ensure WORM meets applicable safety requirements for the uses assessed. They do not certify WORM for infant sleep.

Because WORM doesn't quite fit into a traditional product category! It's somewhere between a soft toy and a bolster and how it's used changes with age.

We also know that children don't always use things exactly as intended! Toys tend to get a lot more handling, pulling, dragging and general wear and tear than your average cushion. WORM might be designed for quiet moments, but we know it won't always stay there. In my home, WORM has ended up in trees, on the beach and even caught under the wheel of a pushchair!

That's exactly why we chose to put WORM through established European and American toy safety testing. We wanted to challenge its construction, materials and durability against standards designed for products that children actively handle and play with.

It also gives our manufacturing partners clear safety and quality requirements to meet.

Of course, passing toy safety tests doesn't mean WORM is suitable for every kind of use, particularly infant sleep. That's why our age-specific safety guidance is just as important.

At WORM, we take safe sleep seriously. Our guidance is informed by leading safe sleep organisations and public health authorities around the world, including The Lullaby Trust in the UK, the HSE in Ireland, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in the USA, Health Canada and Red Nose Australia.

Their recommendations share important principles, including placing babies on their backs to sleep, using a firm, flat sleep surface and keeping their sleep space clear of pillows, soft toys, weighted objects and other loose items.

That's why we're very clear about how WORM should be used. For babies, WORM is intended for supervised, awake moments together, such as feeding, cuddling and winding down before sleep. It should never be placed in a baby's sleep space or left with a sleeping baby.

We believe in helping families build comforting routines while always putting safe sleep first.

Of course! You'll receive an order confirmation by email as soon as your purchase is complete. And once your WORM is on its way, we'll send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey right to your door.

Right now, we're shipping WORM to Ireland and Spain, with the UK coming very soon! We're working on bringing WORM to more countries, so keep an eye out as we grow.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location. You'll see the full cost before you place your order. No surprises!

For now, we dispatch orders once a week while we're growing. Once your WORM is on its way, you'll receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey.

For orders within the EU, there are no customs duties. For deliveries further afield, including the US, we'll take care of the import duties and taxes on our side, so you won't have any unexpected charges on arrival. International shipping may cost a little more as a result.

We're also planning to have stock in the US soon, making it easier to bring WORM to even more families!

Of course! If your WORM arrives and the colour isn't quite right, or you've simply had a change of heart, no worries. Just keep the tags attached and reply to your order confirmation email. We'll get back to you with the next steps and help arrange your return.

You have 15 days from receiving your order to request a return. Please keep your WORM unused, with all tags attached and in its original condition.
We're a small, founder-funded brand, so we kindly ask you to treat your WORM with care if you're thinking of returning it. Every WORM matters to us.

Need a little more time? Just let us know. We understand that gifts aren't always opened straight away, and we're happy to consider an exchange beyond the 15 days. Just reply to your order confirmation email and we'll do our best to help.

Once we've received your returned WORM, we'll process your refund within 14 days. You'll receive an email confirmation once it's done, and the money will be returned to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the funds.
